7 meetings to CONNECT WITH your inner elder
We start each meeting where we long to be — in the calm eye of the storm where your inner elder is patiently waiting for you. From this grounded place of connection, using courage, wit and the psychoactive nature of story, we start the process of regathering the parts of your psyche that attempt to drag you back into the storm.
ROBERT LUCK
Robert is an author, explorer and mentor who feels most alive in the mountains. Following a decade in investment banking in New York, he left in 2003 in order to write fiction. For the next fifteen years he toured the world, mainly by motorcycle, a journey that super-charged his deep trust in life and humanity.
He brings this to his work, along with the tool-kits of writing, poetry, depth psychology and indigenous ways of being, including rites of passage work, lucid dreaming and the genius of initiatory stories.
Testimonials
Venturing into the forest, going to meet the elder within: I thoroughly enjoyed being out in nature with Robert and engaging in this inspiring process. Robert is a natural listener and a compassionate guide and mentor, an embodiment of eldership. Robert’s use of story and poetry provided an inspiring, creative framework to help me hone my thoughts and feelings about leadership / eldership and my own journey along this path. Since engaging with the eldership process I have felt a clearer sense of a calm wise place within me that I can choose to step into when faced with challenges. This has helped me to embrace change in both my work and in personal situations.

I can’t believe the seven sessions are over, Robert. Who would have known that the power of storytelling and the random choice of a poem each session could be so insightful, thought-provoking and powerful – thank you. It also surprised me how well it worked virtually. Thanks for listening so attentively and without judgment. Thanks also, Robert, for sharing your wisdom and what you have learnt on your own journey with such wit and humour. As you say, becoming an elder is a lifelong journey, but it's empowering to know that I am on the path.
